Rapid real-time advice and guidelines provided by Professor Melissa Leach and fellow anthropologists during the Ebola crisis increased the effectiveness of medical and humanitarian responses, saving lives and reducing the spread of the disease.

Professor Leach and her team are shortlisted for Outstanding International Impact in the ESRC Celebrating Impact Prize 2016.
